Guns N' Roses made a one-night-only concert tour of Japan on May 5, and the album is now available in remastered form for the first time, featuring the band's heated performances at the height of their popularity. Live Era '87-'93" was released in November 1999 as a collection of the best takes from their live performances around the world between 1987 and 1993, the peak of their popularity, and was awarded a gold disc in the United States. Twenty-six years have passed since its original release. It is now being released as a new edition, remastered from analog tapes by master master mastering engineer Ted Jensen of New York's Sterling Sound. This time, only 4LP is available overseas, but only in Japan, the band has decided to release it as a 2-CD SHM-CD set, which was permitted by the band. The song "Coma," which was only included on the LP and Japanese CD versions of the original release, will be included as a "special bonus track" at the end of DISC 1. (C)RS
